Vinyl Outlets
Basic vinyl outlets can fail shortly after installation. They come in two sizes, one with a 1 7/8 opening and one with a 2 3/8 opening. They are often undersized for the gutter, restricting flow volumes. Basic outlets are easily plugged over creating overflow issues that will cause water damage to the home and landscaping.
U.V. degradation and age will break down the vinyl, causing it to crack apart and leak outside of the downpipe and in some cases causing the pipe to separate from the gutter.
On average, nylon outlets will need replaced two or three times over the lifespan of the gutters.
Aluminum Outlets
Flush mount aluminum outlets will last as long as your gutters! The standard size is 2 ¾ inches, offering double the drainage volume of a small nylon outlet. Removable strainers allow easy cleaning.
Aluminum will not break down with sun or water and the pipe will never separate from the gutter.
Funnel Outlets
Precision's K-funnel and fascia funnel outlets allow high volume drainage and help flush small debris through pipe system. Downpipes that terminate into drain tile will require a leaf catcher. These outlets are very effective in minimizing maintenance when your system is overwhelmed with fir needles.
