  • Debris Removal: Sometimes, you may need to sweep debris off the top of the Alu-Rex products if it hasn't been carried away by the wind. This simple task is much easier than the frequent full clean-outs required by other systems.
  • Snow Management: It’s advisable to periodically remove snow from your roof to maintain the efficiency and longevity of your gutter system.


COMPREHENSIVE 360° LIMITED WARRANTY AND WHAT IT COVERS-

Sturdiness Guarantee: The system will not warp (excluding the gutter itself) if properly installed, with fastening every 24 inches using provided screws.

Performance Promise:  The HoverPro™ line prevents gutter clogs and overflow from leaves and branches if installed per guidelines, with all openings larger than 7/64 square inches adequately sealed.

WARRANTY TRANSFERABILITY-

  • The HoverPro™ limited warranty is transferable one time when the property is sold to a new owner.
  • The warranty remains valid under its original terms but does not extend beyond the initial warranty period upon transfer.


ACTIONS BY ALU-REX INC.-

  • Repair or Replacement: If a manufacturing defect is validated, Alu-Rex Inc. will either repair or replace the defective product at their discretion.
  • Refund Option: Alternatively, a refund for the purchase price of the originally installed defective product may be provided.
  • Labor Coverage for Obstructions: Alu-Rex will cover reasonable labor costs to clear obstructions in the gutter or downspout caused by product failure.
  • Liability Limitation: Alu-Rex's liability will not exceed the purchase price of the original product. Any additional costs and expenses are the owner's responsibility.


WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS-

  • Installation and Environmental Effects: DDamages from improper installation, surface changes due to environmental exposure, and blockages from unusual conditions are not covered.
  • Natural and Accidental Damage: The warranty excludes damage from severe weather, fire, structural changes, accidents, and major incidents.
  • Misuse and Alterations: Any misuse, neglect, unauthorized alterations, or modifications without Alu-Rex’s written consent will void the warranty.
  • Material Contact Corrosion: Corrosion due to contact with dissimilar materials or improper installation practices is not covered.


OTHER LIMITATIONS-

  • The warranty is valid for genuine HoverPro™ products only; verification is required.
  • Replacement products may differ slightly due to normal weathering.
  • Alu-Rex reserves the right to change or discontinue products without notice.
  • Direct contact with certain materials can cause corrosion; proper installation is essential.
  • Warranty voided by unauthorized repairs.

  • Is the warranty transferable?

    Yes, the limited warranty is transferable one time when the property is sold. The warranty remains valid for the new owner within the original warranty period. This means that while ownership changes hands, the coverage continues under the same terms set out for the initial owner, ensuring the new owner can also benefit from the protection offered.

  • What actions will Alu-Rex Inc. take if there's a product defect?

    If you experience a defect in our product, Alu-Rex Inc. is committed to addressing the issue promptly and efficiently. Here's how we handle product defects:


    Notification and Validation: First, you need to notify us in accordance with the specified notice requirements. We will validate the complaint to confirm the defect.


    Resolution Options: Upon validation, Alu-Rex Inc. will take one of the following actions, at our discretion:

      - Repair the defective product.

      - Replace the defective product with new materials.

      - Refund the purchase price of the originally installed product found to be defective.


    Performance Failure Actions: If the product's failure leads to gutter or downspout obstructions, Alu-Rex Inc. will cover reasonable labor costs to clear these obstructions. Additional repairs or product replacements can also be provided under the same limitations.


    Cost and Expense Limitations: Our responsibility is limited to actions and expenses equating to the product's original purchase price; any extra costs are your responsibility.


    Warranty Continuity: In case of a repair or replacement, the warranty for the replacement or repaired product will extend only for the duration remaining under the original warranty.

    6. Damage from rapid snow or ice movement on steep or metal roofs.

    7. Structural shrinkage or distortion.

    8. Damage from natural disasters like fires, storms, or earthquakes.

    9. Damage from exposure to harmful chemicals.

    10. Surface deterioration from air pollution.

    11. Misuse, abuse, or vandalism.

    12. Accumulation of mold and mildew.

    13. Costs for clearing blockages due to unusual conditions.

    14. Impact from foreign objects.

    15. Black streaks, known as tiger-stripes, on the gutter.

    16. Warping from exposure to excessive heat or reflective heat sources.

    17. Products altered without Alu-Rex Inc.'s authorization.

    18. Any causes beyond reasonable control.

    2. Aesthetic Variations: Expect differences in gloss and color in replacement products due to normal weathering; this is not covered under warranty.


    3. Product Changes: Alu-Rex may alter or discontinue products without notice. Unavailable products can be substituted with similar quality items during a warranty claim.


    4. Exclusive Warranty Terms: The warranty provided by Alu-Rex is the sole warranty. Other dealer or contractor warranties are not recognized.


    5. Debris Clearance: Debris may collect in sheltered areas; regular cleaning is necessary to maintain system efficiency.


    6. Corrosion Prevention: Prevent corrosion by avoiding contact of aluminum with dissimilar materials or runoff from such materials. Proper installation is key to preventing warranty voidance.

  • How do I submit a warranty claim?

    To submit a warranty claim, prepare a written notice that includes a picture and detailed description of the defect, the date the defect was discovered, the original installation date, a copy of the invoice, and the contact details for both the installer and yourself.
